Our story

A family trattoria since 1978

Bayt Al Maakarona opened in 1978 as a twelve-table trattoria on Rainbow Street. Our head chef, Hisham Barakat, learned to cook here beside his grandmother, and he still follows her recipes, with a few of his own.

We buy vegetables and herbs from growers we know by name, bring our cheeses from Italy and make every pasta shape and dessert in-house each day.
