What we believe
Handmade things belong in everyday life. A plate made by hand turns an ordinary dinner into something to remember.
A family pottery workshop in the old city of Hebron, making cups, plates and planters by hand since 1987.
Fukhar w Teen began in 1987, when our grandfather opened a small kiln near the old souq. Today his children and grandchildren work alongside six local potters, shaping every piece on the wheel and glazing it by hand.
We make things to be used: plates that go in the dishwasher, cups that keep coffee warm and planters that drain properly. Each piece is a little different, because no two hands work the clay the same way.

Clay
We use red and white clay from the hills around Hebron, cleaned and left to rest in our yard for several weeks.
Shaping and glazing
Each piece is thrown on the wheel, dried slowly and given a first firing. Glazes are mixed in small batches, so colours shift slightly from one batch to the next.
Firing and finishing
A second firing at 1,200°C makes every piece strong, food-safe and ready for daily use.

Handmade things belong in everyday life. A plate made by hand turns an ordinary dinner into something to remember.
Food-safe glazes, honest prices and careful packing. If a piece arrives broken, we replace it at no cost.
