Our story
Adel Hamdan opened Sukkara in 1991 with his mother's recipes and one small oven. More than thirty years later, our bakers still use those recipes, real butter and fresh fruit, and everything is made by hand on site every morning.
Today a team of more than 45 people bakes over 35 different sweets, from muffins and doughnuts to custom celebration cakes.
