Our lodge

A family-run lodge and guiding team above the Qadisha Valley.

Established in 1995

My father built the first six rooms in 1995, from stone he carried up from the valley and cedar beams from a fallen tree. Today the lodge has fourteen rooms, a terrace over the Qadisha Valley and a kitchen that still cooks the way my grandmother did: kibbeh, mountain bread and whatever the season brings.

Tamer joined us as a young guide and now leads every route, from the Cedars of God to the monasteries in the valley below. Our guides are certified and carry first-aid kits and radios on every walk.

Whether you come to climb, to hike or simply to breathe, we plan your days around you. We look forward to welcoming you.

What we hold to

Safe routes

We walk every route before the season opens and turn back when the weather says so.

Slow stays

A lodge where guests slow down, eat well and come back year after year.

Local first

Our guides, cooks and suppliers come from Bsharri and the villages around it.
