About us

How a clinic in Irbid became a foundation

In 1998 a group of doctors and teachers opened a free weekend clinic and homework club in Irbid. Word spread, other towns asked for help, and the volunteers registered as a foundation. Today more than 7,000 staff and volunteers carry on that work in 12 countries, and 99% of them live in the communities they serve.
