Nader Makarem was born and raised in Aley and has practised law here for fifteen years.
In 2011 he opened a free legal clinic on Main Street for tenants, workers and small business owners. The cases he saw every week, from unpaid wages to unsafe buildings, convinced him that the town needed practical answers and a council that listens.
