Biography
Nour Deeb grew up singing in her school choir in Zahle and writing songs on a borrowed oud. Ten years, six albums and hundreds of shows later, her voice still carries that same mix of warmth and grit.
Her music blends Arabic pop, soul and a little jazz: stories about love, distance and finding your way home. On stage she plays with a six-piece band and a string section that make every concert feel like a gathering of old friends.
Nour walks into the studio with a song half-finished and walks out with something that gives you chills. She never phones it in.— Elie Khoury, Nour's producer
