Hosted by the Momani family since 2001

Nuzul Al Jabal began as our grandparents' stone house on the road up to Ajloun Castle. Today it has fourteen rooms, a small hammam and spa, and a terrace that looks over oak and pine forest towards the Jordan Valley.

Breakfast comes from the village: olive oil from our own trees, labneh, za'atar, eggs and honey from neighbours in Ain Janna. In the afternoons we serve tea by the fire, and in the evening the kitchen cooks maqluba and mansaf on request. Ask us about forest walks, the castle and the cable car; we know every trail.

Ajloun stays around ten degrees cooler than Amman in July and August. Our summer stay includes three nights, breakfast on the terrace, one hammam session per guest and a guided walk through the Ajloun Forest Reserve.
