About Zaid
Writer, speaker and lifelong reader of things that go bump in the night.
My story
I grew up in a small mountain town in northern Jordan, where everyone knew everyone's secrets, which turned out to be perfect training for a mystery writer.
After years in marketing in Amman I self-published my first e-book on a whim. Readers found it, shared it and asked for more, and I have been writing full time ever since.
Away from the desk
When I am not writing I walk the hills around Ajloun, cook for friends or read three books at once.
I live in Amman with my family and a cat who sits on every manuscript.
