The house belonged to Salma's grandmother.
Salma Haddad grew up visiting this house every Friday. In 2016 she spent three years restoring it with local stonemasons, kept the tiled floors and the iron balconies, and opened its five rooms to guests. She serves breakfast herself and will happily plan your walk through Weibdeh and downtown.

A warm double in deep red tones, with a reading chair by the arched window.

A quiet room over the garden, named after the walnut tree outside its window.

The brightest room in the house, with a king bed and a walk-in rain shower.

A book-lover's room with a writing desk and shelves of Arabic poetry.

Our top-floor room under the old beams, with a view across the rooftops of Weibdeh.
Each room keeps its original stone walls and high ceilings, with modern comforts for work and rest.

Salma's breakfast every morning: labneh, za'atar manakish, eggs, olives and fresh bread from the bakery down the street.

A small heated pool in the old courtyard, open from April to October.

Shade from the vines for morning coffee, and the city lights for evening tea.
A beautifully restored house, spotless rooms and the warmest welcome. Breakfast on the garden terrace was the highlight of our trip.— Rayyan Saleh, Guest from Riyadh
