History
A few words about our founder, Nabil Azar
Nabil grew up cooking beside his grandmother in Gemmayzeh and learned early that good food starts with good ingredients and a patient hand. After years in kitchens in Lyon and Nice, he came home and opened a small restaurant with six tables and a menu written by hand each morning.
Today he still tastes every sauce before service and greets regulars by name, while a new generation of chefs carries his recipes forward.

1995 · Six tables on Gouraud Street
Nabil opens a small dining room with six tables and a handwritten daily menu.

2003 · Our first printed menu
The dishes guests asked for again and again become our first printed menu.

2010 · A French touch
Techniques Nabil learned in Lyon join the Lebanese favourites in the kitchen.

2015 · A new generation in the kitchen
Young chefs join Nabil to carry his recipes forward.
